When a resident passes away and there is no family or next of kin available to manage their belongings, a sensitive and respectful approach is essential. At the request of St Vincent’s Care, the Wasteman team carefully cleared a resident’s room, treating every item with dignity and consideration.
Where suitable, personal belongings were sorted for charitable donation so they could continue to be of use within the community. Any remaining items were responsibly disposed of.
